AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is a mystery adventure and visual novel game for PlayStation 4, and the direct sequel to the 2019 title AI: The Somnium Files. Players take control of two Special Agents — Mizuki and Ryuki — each paired with an AI partner, as they work to unravel the Half Body serial killings: a cold case that has suddenly reignited six years after it began.
Through both narrative-driven investigation and dream-diving sequences called Psync, the story weaves together dual perspectives with an increasingly complex cast of characters. Developed and published by Spike Chunsoft, this is a single-player experience for fans of gripping, story-heavy detective games.
- Sequel to AI: The Somnium Files (2019), developed and published by Spike Chunsoft
- Dual-protagonist structure — play as both Mizuki and Ryuki with their AI partners Aiba and Tama
- Psync dream-investigation sequences expanded with new puzzles and mini-games
- Rich, branching neo-noir mystery story with a new cast alongside returning characters
- Single-player; English and Japanese voice tracks with English text
