The royal selection is suddenly thrown into chaos when a mysterious sixth candidate appears to claim the throne — despite the Dragon Stone prophesying only five. Players guide Subaru through a web of assassinations, conspiracies and betrayal to uncover the imposter's identity before it is too late.

The original story was fully supervised by Re:ZERO light novel author Tappei Nagatsuki, and features both familiar series characters and brand-new ones designed by original artist Shinichirou Otsuka.
