Front Mission 1st: Remake is a tactical turn-based RPG developed by Forever Entertainment and published by Microids, based on the classic Square Enix strategy game originally released in 1995. Set in the year 2090, players take command of Wanzers — heavily armed military mechs — across two distinct story campaigns, choosing to fight for the O.C.U. or the U.C.S. on the contested Huffman Island.

The remake brings updated visuals and a reorchestrated soundtrack, while also including the original version of the game. Players can fully customise their Wanzer's firepower, defence and speed, and must use terrain and tactics to outmanoeuvre their opponents.
