Death end re;Quest 2 is a horror JRPG developed by Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory, written in collaboration with Corpse Party scenario writer Makoto Kedouin. You play as Mai Toyama, a young woman who enrols at an all-girls dormitory in the eerie mountain town of Le Choara while searching for her missing sister.

Gameplay alternates between daytime visual-novel exploration and nighttime turn-based battles against grotesque Shadow Matter enemies. Beware: indestructible Shadow Matter can appear at any moment, forcing you to fight or flee for your life.
